DAN W3

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.

This new, low profile light is a single compact flashing unit. The light is emitted through a ultra low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap and one to go over a 5cm belt. This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required.

required.

Activation
All Daniamant Lifejacket Lights are designed to suit the
applications faced by our customers. However, we can offer
alternative methods of activation as follows:
Manual Activation. “M”. As it implies, the Light will only
operate manually. The Light can be tested with the switch
and can also be switched off if required.
Water Activation. “W”. The light will switch on
Automatically when the water contacts are immersed in
water. Please note it may take up to 20 seconds for the light
to switch on. The light will remain on whilst the contacts are
immersed in the water, but may well switch off if the contacts
are removed from the water. In those circumstances, the light
can be switched on and off manually as required via the switch.

Additional Options
In addition to the above, and subject to the quantities
required, Daniamant can offer the following versions:
-1.A water activated light that is activated by a lead which,
by fixing to the bottom of the Lifejacket, ensures that water is
always on the contacts and that the light remains activated.
-2. Similar to the -1 lights, but this light will also activate via
the contacts on the light.
We also have the option to offer these lights in various
colours to suit your individual applications. In addition, we can
now offer a unique Test Probe to enable all “W”, “WR” and
“WL” to be tested.
